Introduction:

China has undergone an enormous process of economic and social development and modernization in recent decades. Society's demands on politics are changing, and politics is called upon to keep pace with these changes. With the political-academic dialogue, the Beijing Representative Office has been creating a space for substantive discussion of sociopolitical issues since 1993. The discourse makes motivations visible, shows alternative courses of action and thus accompanies the Chinese reform process. The focus of the work is on social policy, the rule of law and good governance.

The cooperation takes place within the framework of an umbrella partnership with the Ministry of Education (MoE) for our representative office in Beijing, on the basis of which the MoE has access to the competencies and resources of our individual project centers.
